2Ti 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Have you ever struggled to understand “rightly dividing the word of truth”? Most have or still do! You have been grossly lied to most of your life!
My best advice is to research at least five unique concepts for your consideration, below, for your convenience.
What you should come to learn:
- Ye/Thee
- Ye = all / many
- If it begins with a ‘Y’, it is Plural version of the word you
- If it begins with a ‘Y’, it is Plural version of the word you
- Thee = singular
- If it begins with a ‘T’, it is Singular version of the word you
- If it begins with a ‘T’, it is Singular version of the word you
- Thoughts: As you can see, modern bible version typically remove all of the Ye’s/Thee’s, etc.. This change can destroy the context of who a particular part of scripture is “TO”.
- Remember: All scripture is for us, but NOT all scripture is to us. Coming to understand how the context of ‘you’ is spelled out by inspiration of God is critical.

- Circumcision/Uncircumcision
- Circumcision?
- Jews (Israel/Jacob, God’s chosen people)
- Children of the Law
- Uncircumcision?
- Gentiles (all non Jews)
- Children of His grace
- Thoughts: As you can see, some scripture is strictly for God’s chosen people and it is purely about His law, as given to Moses and clarified in time. In direct contrast, Gentiles were never under the Law, but under Grace. Is a verse TO Jews, or TO Gentiles, or TO both, etc.?
- Circumcision?
- Dispensations
- There are many unique periods of time applicable to the bible. Of utmost importance today is the Dispensation of Grace (aka. ‘Age of the Church’). Ephesians 3:2-5, Colossians 1:25-27
- Today, we are in the age of Grace. Spelled out, called out, and clarified ONLY by Apostle Paul by revelation of Jesus Christ.
- a Great Mystery is unveiled.
- Age of the Law passed away. There are no Levitical priests today, there is no Temple in Jerusalem today (destroyed in AD 70)), we do NOT tithe (but we do give with a loving heart), etc. We are in the dispensation/age of grace (not under the Law). Matthew 24:2 Contrast: ( Numbers 18:21 plus Deuteronomy 14:22-29 ) versus ( 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 plus Romans 6:14-15 )

- Gospel(s)
- There are more Gospels than you may have found, thus far! Search OT and NT
- Matthew/Mark/Luke/John are NOT TO the Gentiles. Jesus walked the earth in that time and the Jews were still under the Law (this is a different Dispensation!) John is not the same as Mat/Mar/Luk, either.
- Gospel of Paul is to the Gentiles – be sure to rightly divide the Word of truth. All of God’s word is truth but not all of it is to ‘you’. 1 Corthinians 1:17
- The Gospel you should follow is Paul’s: Chist is the son of God, is God manifest in the flesh, Died on the Cross, was buried, arose the 3rd day! That is ALL! We are told to READ, BELIEVE, TRUST and then you are SAVED by his Grace. It is a gift, only. No water baptism, no repentance needed. You are 1st saved, then the Holy Spirit can lead you to repentance! This is different than what is normally shared in those church buildings! Do you believe God’s word? Read it for yourself! Rightly dividing the word of truth.

- The Church
- While The Temples or tabernacle once held the Holy Spirit, it was the house of God.
- When Christ died – his Spirit left the Temple (the vail tore)!
- When Christ ascended into Heaven – he 1st told us he would send a Comforter (the Holy Spirit; to the Apostles, specifically). John 16:7, John 14:16,26
- When the Jews continued to rebel against Christ (even after he ascended); they slew Stephen, God knew man cannot be saved except in Spirit and of his grace. Acts 22:20-21
- This is why part of the Mystery of Christ, given-to and revealed-by, only Apostle Paul (see Pauline Epistles), that God enjoined the Gentiles with the Jews but without the Law (for that time has past). Rather under his Grace. While the Acts of the Apostles were sent out to build God’s church, the meaning and need of the definition of church had to change after the Law. Romans 11:25, Romans 16:25
- Today, we learn from Apostle Paul that the Church is ‘us’, we are his Temple, and his Holy Spirit dwells in us, not some ‘building’ as we have been grossly misled. 1 Corithinians 3:16-17, Romans 12:4-5, 1 Corinthians 6:15, 1 Corinthians 12:25-27, 1 Corinthians 16:19, Philemon 1:2,
